As an adventure travel blogger with a love for the French Alps, I recently stayed at Ibis Styles close to the airport for a night before my early flight. The proximity to the airport and the free shuttle service were convenient, but there were some drawbacks.While the hotel was clean and comfortable, the room was small for a family of four with luggage. The dinner was decent, but not exceptional. However, the breakfast was a pleasant surprise with high-quality loose leaf tea and gluten-free options.The staff was friendly and welcoming, making the stay enjoyable. Although the airport shuttle service was a plus, I was disappointed to discover that the free shuttle only started at 5:30 am, leaving me to pay €30 for a 5-minute drive to the airport for my 6 am flight.In conclusion, Ibis Styles offers a decent stay for a quick airport stopover, but be mindful of additional costs for early shuttle rides. For a budget-friendly option near the airport, this hotel could be a suitable choice.
